Ishikawa; From Alberts et al., \r\n1986)<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">It is still unclear whether this fine net of filaments (threads), forming the<br>cytoskeleton, really exists in the cytoplasm of living cells or it is a result of<br>aggregation of soluble macromolecules during the process of fixation and<br>dehydration of preparations. That directs to the idea about the failure of using<br>such methods of investigation and the possibly great differences between<br>fixed and <em>in vivo<\/em> studies of the cells.
